Today @ Healingsprings fellowship

Our God is sovereign. Not just sovereign in principle, but also sovereign in practice.

So as the season changes and 2016 draws to a close, and we are at the dawn of 2017, the lord speaks.
Friends, I hear the warning the lord gave to Nineveh through Prophet Nahum (2:1), and the consolation he returned to Israel (2:2) for her years in exile, affliction and shame.
So today we continue with our theme for 2016: Our Year of Plenty, (Gen. 41:46-49).
And over the months of November and December, we continue offering prayers, prophetic declaration, and thanksgiving.
In the words of Jesus to that leper that returned with praise:
“Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” – Luke 17:17-19

This Sunday @ Healingsprings fellowship!

Prayer

In Psalm 65:2, the psalmist wrote:

‘O you who answer prayer! To you all flesh shall come’

With this in mind, we kicked off our series on Prayer a couple of weeks ago.

Having laid a basic foundation and steady progress to Prayer of Petition, last week we explored The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13), under the title: Prayer of Thanksgiving.

In the course of this lecture, we looked at the history and context of Jesus’ teaching on prayer, and its relevance in our Christian walk today.

Tonight we will crystallise this series with a focus on Prayer of Praise and other cross cutting themes.

So join in!

This Sunday @ Healingsprings fellowship | Church Reloaded: We Are The Revolution

Dear friends, a change of guard is happening spiritually, and it bears the hallmark of a revolution.

To this end, we looked at various definitions of the word revolution last week. Then drawing from history and some biblical case studies, we looked at trajectories of the concept, as we define our place in the movement.

This Sunday our focal point is on Matt.11:12

From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force.

And 2 Samuel 3:1

There was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David; David grew stronger and stronger, while the house of Saul became weaker and weaker.

I’m so excited about what God is doing through our Church Reloaded series, so I extend an invite to you!

Join us this Sunday for: We Are The Revolution.
