Today @ healingsprings fellowship

Last week I made an attempt to treat Amos’ visions, their meaning and the success of his intercession in averting the calamities from the nation. And I also covered subtopics like intercession and visions.

Moving forward, I will be looking at prayer as I crystallise this seminal piece of religious literature at today’s lecture.

In an effort to articulate the sense of urgency and importance of his message, the prophet wrote poetically:

The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken; who can but prophesy? – Amos 3:8

God be praised! 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

Community Bible Experience: The Books of Titus and 2Timothy

CBElogo_black

Community Bible Experience operates like a Reading Club…

Participants agree a weekly reading plan, then every Friday we meet in a relaxed fashion for an hour to discuss the following simple questions:

  • What’s something you noticed for the first time?
  • What questions did you have?
  • Was there anything that bothered you?
  • What did you learn about loving God?
  • What did you learn about loving others?

Afterwards, we have some light refreshments while we catchup, pray, challenge and encourage each other. We recommend a copy of The Books of The Bible by Biblica because of its design and ease of use, and our weekly target is eleven pages per week.

This week we will be exploring the pages of the books of Titus and 2Timothy (The Books of the Bible, New Testament, pages 227-238)!

  • (7:00 – 8:00)pm on Fridays
  • 52 Arcadian Avenue, Bexley, Kent DA5 1JW

The Words Of Our Elders: Smith Wigglesworth (1859-1947)

“If it is in the Bible, it is so. It’s not even to be prayed about. It’s to be received and acted upon. Inactivity is a robber which steals blessings. Increase comes by action, by using what we have and know. Your life must be one of going on from faith to faith.”

~ Smith Wigglesworth

The word of our elders, are words of wisdom.
