Spiritual Intelligence: Covert Operations

However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Good morning friends. Heaven has protocols that are designed to disconnects our adversary the devil from understanding and knowing God’s operations. These protocols are gateways that are closely guarded by Angelic beings, and used as corridors for bringing God’s will on earth.

In Jacob’s famous dream, we are provided with a beautiful imagery of this operation. In his dream he saw a ladder to the heavens, with Angels ascending and descending. For the records, Angels are higher beings that operate in the supernatural realm to bring God’s will and purpose to manifestation on earth. They are set in motion through our prayers and walk of faith. Hence we cannot relent in prayers, especially speaking in tongues.

So with this in mind, we can understand why Amos said;

The Lord will surely do nothing, until He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

These mysteries are hidden and only revealed to trusted individuals. Each one with a unique talent, but all qualified by God through their faithfulness in little things. Their core duty is to pray through, receive instructions, and carry out God’s assignments on earth. Like in any military or intelligence operation, there are casualties. The higher the risk, the more the potential for casualties. All through the ages Heaven is busy headhunting worthy vessels as successors or replacements.

So, Isaiah spoke these words hundreds of years before Jesus was born;

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.

He died a false prophet, because it never materialised in his lifetime. However years later, the word was made manifest in the person of Jesus Christ. In true covert style, He was born out of obscurity, but as soon as they realised who He was, they crucified Him. Little did they know that it was all a setup; His death was part of God’s plan for the ultimate redemption of humanity!

… for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

He is coming back, no one knows the hour of His appearing, but He has left us with vital signs. From the signs dear friends, His return is eminent.

For now I’ll just say, Happy Good Friday!

Spiritual Intelligence: Because Your Love Is Better Than Life, My Lips Will Glorify You!

As a backdrop, let’s consider the following excerpts from John’s revelation in the Isle of Patmos;

“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Good morning friends. You will agree with me from these verses that the war of wars (the war between humankind and our adversary the devil), was won by two potent arsenals; the blood of the lamb, and the words of our testimony.

The former is a done deal; Christ came, He preached and performed great signs and wonders. He was crucified, He died and was buried, He rose up on the third day, left His Holy Spirit with us, and He’s now in heaven until the restoration of all things, and His glorious return.

The latter however is an active choice by the believer. A testimony can be defined as a formal written or spoken statement. With that in mind, let’s consider the following prompts; What do we say about our God to friends and colleagues? Are we ashamed of the Gospel? What do we say in our minds when we are faced with challenges?

In the words of the Psalmist;

I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory.
Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

Let us pray. Father, fill us with your Holy Spirit. Empower us to be true and faithful witnesses – amen!

Spiritual Intelligence: In All Things, Give Thanks

An incident:

Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.

So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”

A statement by a Jesus freak:

Always be joyful. Always keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

My conclusion:
There is something tremendous about gratitude expressed through a lifestyle of thanksgiving. It brings a sense of inner peace to the person offering it, it frustrates the devil, and most importantly it gives glory to our God.

Just like Job’s, our lives are the platforms for the eternal battle between; Angels and Demons, Good and Evil, or God and Satan if you prefer. Therefore a life of praise gives victory to God, and massive destruction to the camp of the evil one!

Little wonder why Paul could boldly declare just when the enemy thought he had death as the ultimate offensive;

For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

So give thanks today and always regardless of your situation or circumstance.

A health warning:
As you do things are likely to get worse, but as long as you continue steadfastly heaven gets the upper hand and victory is delivered! Its a choice my friends – a good one too.
