Our ideology shapes our outlook and actions. A core part of the overarching framework of this ideology is our faith or religion.
To a large extend dear friends, what we know to be true, and what we believe matters. Hence we talk about God as a “man of war”, as to Jesus, the Prince of Peace. An angry God is who is unhappy with humanity, as to a loving, forgiving Father that seeks relationship. Sacrificial Religion, as to a Self Giving or Self Offering relationship with the Father.
This Sunday I will be looking at Jesus, and how we can use his life, teaching and ministry in interpreting and understanding the Bible, especially Old Testament texts.
