NO MORE BUSINESS AS USUAL!
In Isaiah 38:1, King Hezekiah received a prophecy from the prophet Isaiah to set things in order.
In the same vain, and in line with our theme for this year: indescribable joy and God’s glory (1 Peter 1:8-9), we invite you to join us for prayers this Sunday.
During the course of this service will be giving thanks to God for all he has done this year.
Despite all the challenges, we continue to wax strong, acknowledging His joy and the manifestation of His glory in every situation.
Prayer focus:
2 Kings 4:1-7 (part A)
Declare with me:
- the gifts and talents within me are stirred up for God’s glory. I am the light of the world, so my talents are discovered and can’t be hidden. I am the salt of the world, I have a ‘can do’ mentality, and the ability of God is at work in me.
-
I do not miss opportunities to use my talents and gifts. I seize every opportunity that is available to me, and no limitation is before me. I listen to God’s instructions and I execute them in Jesus’ name.
-
there is more grace, will, and courage to overcome limitations, there is room for increase, and to receive more from God.
-
that as the seed of Abraham, I have faith to launch out.
-
I have an enterprising mind because the mind of Christ is functioning in me, therefore anything I embark on prospers (Psalm 1:1-3).
2 Kings 4:8-37 (part B)
- Pray that the wisdom of God guides you to opportunities, and your resources are used for good causes, and the benefit of humanity.
Dear friends ‘Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God’ – (Rom. 4:20-21).
- Declare that you are fully persuaded that what God has promised in 2015, He is also able to perform!
This service will be consolidated with communion, worship and thanksgiving.
Come, and join in!
