Spiritual Intelligence: Positive Confession

POSITIVE CONFESSION

“…speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so shall thou give the congregation and their beasts drink”.(Numbers 20 vs 8).

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

When God got set to quench the thirst of the Israelites, He instructed Moses to speak to the rock that it may give forth water. Like we already observed, the word ‘SPEAK’ as used in that Scripture is derived from a Hebrew Word ‘DABAR’. One of the meanings of ‘DABAR’ is ‘TO PRONOUNCE’. So, God instructed Moses to make a pronouncement to the rock that it may give forth water.

A Pronouncement is a declaration, not a negotiation. That means, God told Moses to make a declaration to the rock that it may release what Moses wanted. He told Moses to command the rock to release what he desired. To put it differently, God told Moses to say what he wanted to get from the rock.

Friend, in this season, God says, don’t declare what you see; declare what you want to see. Don’t confess your circumstances; confess what you want your circumstances to become. Don’t speak about what is happening, speak about what you want to see happen.

Today, call forth the miracle you desire from God. Declare what you want to see in your marriage, career, business, health, finances, future etc.

See how what you say is so important to God; Numbers 14 vs 28 enlightens,

Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you

As you speak so shall God do unto you!

Pray with me, “Lord, I will keep making positive confessions and declarations. I receive what I declare in Jesus’ Name”.
