Spiritual Intelligence: So Close, Yet So Far

So close, yet so far..

A picture-perfect expression of this idiom is captured in Judas Iscariot’s life. He lived in the era of the greatest Rabbi this world has ever known.

In spite of Judas’ rep for getting anything by any means necessary, The Rabbi gave him an opportunity as one of His apprentices, with great hopes that he would change.

But while the others excelled, Judas’ vision became blinkered by lust, leading to the betrayal of The Rabbi. Judas exchanged the very one who believed in him; one with the keys to eternal life for short-term gains.

Wow! What a deal?
