Duty…
A 4letter word with an enormous capacity for good. It comes with moral and legal responsibilities. Responsibilities come with degrees of power, and frameworks. It’s frameworks binds us to certain choices and actions.
So it’s no surprise that many shy away from duty because of responsibilities. Some take it on, but are unwilling to pay the right price.
Duty is from the root word “due”, meaning “that which is owing”. It affords us with a chance to give back that which is due.
Our true Human Capital can be valued by our sense of duty. How much are we really worth?
