In life’s adventure, our approach in dealing with situations and circumstances presented to us largely depends on our perception.
One sees them as opportunities for self improvement, the other as set-backs. One complains about them, the other seeks wise counsel. One seeks education or training on the subject, the other gives up and quits.
Marcel Proust once said,
The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.
Our sight can either enhance or alter things around us. When was the last time you had yours checked?
