Today’s date is unique for countries that share our date format. The day, month and year are all arrayed in incremental order.
For me it brings to light the incremental effect of our actions and choices. How a simple move today can have a profound effect on the future of humanity, as a result of our interconnectivity.
In a play by Alexander Solzhenitsyn, a dying man said to those around him,
“The moment when its terrible to feel regret is when one is dying”.
So friends, by taking the long view of life, we lay the right building blocks for tomorrow’s world.
