An Accountability Friend…
Similar to a mentor, this is someone who agrees to hold us accountable for our vision, standards and achievements. A person we can openly discuss issues we are struggling with, a support when we drop the ball, one that sees our blind spot, one that adds value.
Before we start our search, we need to be brutally honest with ourselves. Identify things we aim to achieve and standards to maintain. Once achieved, we look out for one with vision, empathy, wisdom and integrity. No jokers or time wasters.
Then meet, discuss, review and celebrate!
