In our culture of work smart and play hard, we have lost hard work and dignity of labour, the very building blocks of western development as we know today.
I saw a shocking report recently highlighting that we only work for over two hours in a shift in the UK, the rest is used for social activities. On the other hand our competitors have learnt from our history. They know what worked for us, and it’s working for them.
But sadly, we seem to be suffering from amnesia.
