“If youth knew what age would crave, it would both get and save” ~ English Proverb.
In this proverb the ellipsis is left for the readers or listeners to supply. On one hand we have those who with the best will are lacking in knowledge.
On the other those that know what to do, but lack the will to set the wheels in motion. Perhaps the latter have been ensnared by life’s distractions, so they procrastinate instead of doing. Their vision becomes blurred, and like night stars, slowly those dreams begin to fade away.
Friends, knowing and doing is key, starting early helps!
