These wise saying comes to mind as I reflect over the news of Paul Flowers. It highlights that we all have weaknesses, and we are most vulnerable to them under life’s pressures.
So It saddens me when people are suddenly tagged as hypocrites whenever these shortcomings are exposed. In Paul’s case, an understanding of humanity’s default position was what led him to Christianity. Therefore we can say that he is authentic.
Friends, we all need help! Some are in denial, while others are seekers. Time will tell.
